The Giannis D is a Greek freighter wreck lying near Hurghada, Egypt, in the Gulf of Suez. It was built in 1969 and sank in 1983 after striking the reef of Abu Nuhas. The wreck is 87 metres long. Depths are reported between 4 and 28 metres depending on the source. It is reached by boat or liveaboard. The stern section, with its bridge and funnel, is noted as photogenic. Moray eels, reef sharks and schooling fish are occasionally seen, along with dolphins and whales.
