Big Brother is a reef, wreck and wall site in the Red Sea, Egypt. It is reached by liveaboard and rated for advanced divers, with diving possible from May to December. Depth is reported from 5 or 8 metres down to 40 metres, with strong current present as a hazard. A British cargo ship sank here in 1901 after hitting the reef, and its wreck measures 130 metres. The site lies within a marine park declared a natural protectorate in 1983. Night diving is forbidden here as part of the protected national park, and since 2018 visitors have not been allowed to stay more than one day. It is ranked among the world's top 50 dive sites. Oceanic whitetip sharks and corals and fans are resident. Hammerhead sharks, pelagic thresher sharks, reef sharks and turtles are occasionally seen.
