Not a safety tool
Diver Earth is an atlas and a logbook. It is not a dive plan, a briefing or a safety assessment. Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong even when sourced. Dive within your training and experience, with a local operator where appropriate, and decide on the day from the actual conditions. We never state that a site is safe, and nothing here should be read that way.
Your content
Your dives and notes are yours. You give us permission to store and show them to you, and to others only when you share them. Don't log anything unlawful or anyone else's personal data beyond a buddy's name.
Our content
The location layer is open data under the ODbL (see Open data). Other text, research and design are ours; photos belong to their credited authors under their licences.
Changes
We may change these terms as Diver Earth grows, and will say so here.
