We keep as little as we can, and your dives stay yours.
Without an account
- No tracking cookies and no ads. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
- "Near me" uses your location only in your browser to sort sites by distance. It is never sent to us.
With an account
- Your email address, to send sign-in codes. No password is stored.
- Your name, username and settings, and the sites you mark as dived or want to dive.
- Your logged dives. They are private unless you share one; a public profile shows your globe and numbers, never your calendar.
- Buddy names you write in a dive are visible only to you, even on a shared dive.
- You can make your profile private, download everything, or delete your account from My Diver Earth. Deleting removes your profile, marks and dives.
Who processes it
- Supabase (database and sign-in), hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics).
- Resend (sending sign-in emails). Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
