Fiji is known as the Soft Coral Capital of the World. Diving here is considered best from May to October, although the islands offer diving conditions throughout the rest of the year as well. Bull sharks, corals and fans, and dolphins and whales are resident in Fijian waters. Hammerhead sharks are occasionally seen, and manta rays are seen from May to October.
