Abu Dabbab Wahid is a reef site in the Red Sea, Egypt. It is a beginner-rated site reached from shore. The site is known as one of the few places in the world to swim with the endangered dugong. Green turtles are resident, and dugongs are rare visitors. Hawksbill turtles, spotted eagle rays, southern stingrays, great barracuda, moray eels, crocodilefish and devil firefish are occasionally seen. Ornate ghost pipefish are rare. Divers are asked to keep a respectful distance and never touch or chase turtles or dugongs. Best months run from November to April.
